Senior UX/UI Designer

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior UX/UI Designer with a strong passion for building innovative product experiences that make people’s work easier and more efficient. By helping us design Unique AI, our modular, security-first AI solution for finance, you will help shape how Generative AI improves daily workflows in the Financial Service Industry.

You will play a pivotal role in helping financial professionals automate repetitive tasks and gain more time for value-generating activities. This role offers the opportunity to apply your design craft to an industry hungry for digital innovation, leveraging the most advanced technologies to create secure, scalable experiences.

Your Skills and Experience

• Experience: 5 years in UX/UI design with a strong portfolio. Experience designing for FinTech, Cyber Security, or complex enterprise-grade solutions is highly preferred over generic SaaS experience.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, or a related field.
• UXR Expertise: Proven experience planning and conducting user research. You should be comfortable writing discussion guides, facilitating user sessions, and presenting findings to stakeholders.
• Tool Proficiency: Expert in Figma for high-fidelity designs and prototyping tools (e.g., Balsamiq, Figma prototypes) for wireframing.
• Modular Thinking: Ability to design scalable components that fit into a modular system rather than just standalone pages.
• Technical Understanding: Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and responsive/mobile design. Knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus to bridge the gap with developers.
• Agile Mindset: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities

Product Design & Strategy

• Lead the design process from concept to final implementation, focusing on delivering modular solutions that drive efficiency while maintaining strict security standards.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to effectively communicate visions and help stakeholders align on complex product solutions.
• Collaborate closely with customer success, product managers, and developers to ensure designs are feasible, secure, and aligned with business goals.
• Expand our design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across the modular architecture of the Unique Brand.
• Marketing Support: Occasionally support our Marketing and Sales team by providing key UI assets for product-marketing content.
  
  

User Experience Research (UXR)

• Lead end-to-end user research: Define research goals, recruit participants from our client base, and select appropriate methods (interviews, usability testing, contextual inquiry, or surveys).
• Synthesize insights: Translate complex user feedback and behavioral data into actionable design improvements and strategic product recommendations.
• Validate concepts: Conduct iterative testing on prototypes to validate the usability of new modules before development, ensuring they meet the specific needs of financial professionals.
