Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Guard to join our team from 3:30pm - 9:00pm (M-H). The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires strong observational skills, the ability to manage conflicts effectively, and a proactive approach to loss prevention. The Security Guard will monitor premises through surveillance systems and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to prevent and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations and taking appropriate action.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities, ensuring all security measures are in place.
- Utilize CCTV and other surveillance equipment to monitor activities within the premises.
- Implement loss prevention strategies to minimize theft and property damage.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with clients, employees, and visitors.
- Prepare detailed reports on incidents, observations, and activities during shifts.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary to address security concerns or incidents.
- Maintain knowledge of emergency procedures, including first aid and CPR protocols.
Requirements
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CCTV systems and surveillance techniques is a plus.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail for identifying potential risks.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
- Must be physically fit to perform patrol duties
