Role Description

The Cold Mix Product Technician role involves supporting the production and quality assurance processes for cold mix products. Responsibilities include performing technical troubleshooting, assisting with material testing, and providing postproduction quality control. Travel to support stockpile planning and production needs in support of territory sales plans.

Qualifications

• Provide mix technician services including but not limited to: Observing and studing aggregate and site conditions, take inventory of beginning and ending stone quantity, report inventory findings, tech pre-designed mix and communicate at conclusion the results of mix, ability to troubleshoot and implement changes to mix on-site
• Attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving abilities

Requirements

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills: ability to communicate with customers, suppliers and employees in a courteous, professional manner
• Experience in construction materials or pavement repair is a plus
• Experience in technical support and troubleshooting to address and resolve product-related issues
• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years’ experience operating and supervising the use of manufacturing equipment such as front-end loaders and forklifts
• Ability to communicate to laborer and management level groups proper safety and use of equipment for the handling of UNIQUE’s products
• Must be detail oriented and organized
• Required to work responsibly without excessive direct supervision
• Ability to calculate mathematical equations and problem solve  
• High degree of integrity and commitment
• Comfortable with using a computer for reporting and emailing
• Must be able to operate an automobile (valid driver’s license and insurable through company’s provider).

The position will be required to work on short notice and the need to be available via cell phone.
