Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primers as needed.
- Apply paint using spray guns, brushes, or rollers while ensuring an even coat and finish.
- Operate power tools and equipment safely and efficiently during the painting process.
- Handle materials properly to prevent waste and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Collaborate with team members to assemble components as needed for various projects.
- Perform basic math calculations for mixing paint and estimating material requirements.
- Conduct regular maintenance on painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial painting or a related field is preferred.
- Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
- Experience in materials handling and fabrication is beneficial.
- Proficiency in operating forklifts and cranes is desirable.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations are essential.
