We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain CNC machines to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications. The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC machines (mills, lathes, or multi-axis machines)
- (FANUC CNC CONTROLS)
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
- Load programs, adjust offsets, and monitor machine performance
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshooting
- Ensure parts meet quality standards and tolerances
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Document production data and report issues to supervisors
- Collaborate with engineering and quality teams as needed
Qualifications
- Previous CNC machining experience required
- Ability to read blueprints and GD&T
- Experience with precision measuring instruments
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skills
- CNC setup experience
- Tooling selection and changeovers
- Experience with multi-axis machining
- Lean manufacturing or ISO experience
- CAD/CAM Software experience
