Duties
- Assist with the interpretation of construction plans and technical drawings to support demo activities.
- Help with manual handling tasks such as lifting, moving, and positioning materials and equipment safely.
- Support erosion control measures by setting up barriers and protective coverings as specified in project plans.
- Operate power tools and basic equipment under supervision, ensuring proper use and maintenance.
- Aid in the installation and removal of safety signage, barriers, and protective measures following OSHA safety standards.
- Participate in climbing activities required for reaching elevated work areas while adhering to fall protection protocols.
- Follow all workplace safety regulations, including respiratory protection use and proper PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) application.
Experience
- Prior experience in industrial or construction environments is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of blueprint reading, construction plans, and interpreting technical drawings is advantageous.
- Familiarity with erosion control practices and safety regulations related to heavy lifting and manual handling.
- Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and implementation of OSHA safety standards.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with equipment repair and maintenance is a plus.
- Ability to work safely at heights through climbing or other elevated tasks while respecting all safety protocols.
- Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
