Job Description
Unique Gifts is a specialty retail store offering a distinctive collection of gifts and collectibles, including Swarovski Crystal, Disney collectibles, Jim Shore, Department 56, and other recognized brands.
We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and dependable Sales Associate who enjoys working with customers and takes pride in providing excellent service. The ideal candidate is personable, sales-oriented, and comfortable building relationships with both new and returning customers.
As a Sales Associate, you will help customers find the perfect gift or collectible, provide knowledgeable product recommendations, and contribute to a welcoming and professional store environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide attentive, personalized service
- Assist customers in selecting gifts and collectibles based on their needs and interests
- Develop strong relationships with new and returning customers
- Learn our products and brands in order to confidently make recommendations
- Meet individual and store sales goals
- Assist with merchandising, displays, pricing, and maintaining store presentation
- Receive, organize, and properly handle merchandise
- Keep the sales floor clean, organized, and inviting
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous retail sales or customer service experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Friendly, professional, and customer-focused personality
- Comfortable approaching customers and initiating conversations
- Motivated to sell and achieve sales goals
- Dependable, punctual, and responsible
- Ability to learn detailed product information
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
