Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Office Manager/Optometric Technician to lead our administrative operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our office environment. Duties
- Manage front desk operations, including greeting visitors, answering multi-line phone systems, and providing exceptional customer service
- Oversee calendar management, scheduling meetings, appointments, and coordinating events with precision
- Maintain accurate records through data entry, filing, proofreading, and managing office documentation
- Handle correspondence via email, phone etiquette, and written communication to ensure clarity and professionalism
- Maintain accurate patient records using Revolution EHR system
- Assist the doctor with pre-testing, patient workups, and clinical procedures
- Educate patients on contact lens insertion, removal, and care
- Order and manage contact lens inventory
- Train and supervise staff as needed
- Ensure excellent patient experience and office efficiency
- Facilitate office management tasks such as supply ordering, equipment maintenance, and space organization
- Assist with personal assistant duties when needed, including travel arrangements and task prioritization
Requirements
- Previous experience in an optometry or ophthalmology office preferred
- Familiarity with Revolution EHR system preferred
- Strong knowledge of contact lenses (fitting, training, and troubleshooting)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Professional demeanor and strong customer service skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Proven experience in office management or administrative roles with strong clerical skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using multi-line phone systems and demonstrating professional phone etiquette
- Ability to manage time effectively while handling multiple priorities simultaneously
