Responsibilities
- Support experienced handymen with general repair and maintenance tasks across various projects
- Assist in installing, repairing, and replacing fixtures, hardware, and appliances as directed
- Prepare work areas by cleaning, organizing tools, and gathering necessary materials before starting tasks
- Use basic electrical tools and equipment, including ohmmeters, to troubleshoot wiring issues and test electrical circuits
- Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a secure work environment for yourself and others
- Help with minor carpentry, painting, plumbing, or drywall repairs under supervision
- Maintain cleanliness of work sites and properly dispose of debris after completing tasks
Qualifications
- Basic understanding of electrical testing tools such as ohmmeters or willingness to learn their use
- Strong work ethic with a positive attitude and eagerness to learn new skills
- Ability to follow instructions carefully and work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks that may involve lifting, bending, or standing for extended periods
- Prior experience in maintenance or construction is a plus but not required; training will be provided
- Reliable transportation to job sites is preferred
