What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live Commerce Manager (Livestream Sales) position at Unique Designs, Inc.?
Unique Designs, Inc.
We're a fast-growing, multi-brand jewelry company with a thriving livestream sales business. We built a strong foundation on Whatnot, and we're now scaling across TikTok Shop, eBay Live, Facebook, and other live shopping platforms. We're looking for a leader who can take this channel from one platform to many — and own the growth.
The RoleThis is a management role, not an operator role. You won't be running streams or accepting orders on the portal — you'll be building and directing the engine behind them. You'll own the live commerce channel end to end: what we sell, where we sell it, who sells it, and how the team behind it runs.
What You'll Do- Own multi-platform expansion: Take our proven Whatnot playbook and launch/scale live selling on TikTok Shop, eBay Live, Facebook, and emerging platforms
- Plan programming and product: Decide what inventory goes into which streams, build the streaming calendar, and merchandise each show for maximum sell-through
- Match product to marketplace: Analyze which categories, price points, and formats perform best on each platform, and allocate inventory accordingly
- Drive sales analysis: Track GMV, sell-through, ASP, viewer conversion, and host performance across platforms; turn the data into weekly decisions
- Recruit and manage hosts: Source, vet, onboard, and coach on-camera talent; build a bench of hosts across platforms and manage their schedules and incentives
- Lead the operations team: Manage the stream operators who run day-to-day sessions — scheduling, training, accountability, and process improvement
- Build the playbook: Document what works so the channel scales with systems, not heroics
- 3–5 years in e-commerce, marketplace, or retail operations, with at least some direct exposure to live shopping (Whatnot, TikTok Shop, eBay Live, or similar)
- Proven people-management experience — you've hired, scheduled, and held a team accountable
- Strong analytical skills; comfortable living in spreadsheets and turning sales data into merchandising decisions
- Understands the rhythm of live selling: auction dynamics, drops, engagement tactics, and what makes a stream convert
- Experience recruiting or managing on-camera talent, creators, or sales personalities is a big plus
- Jewelry, fashion, or collectibles category experience is a plus, not a requirement
- Organized, decisive, and comfortable running multiple concurrent streams/platforms without dropping details
- Own a high-growth channel with real P&L visibility — this isn't a maintenance role
- Upside tied directly to your results: performance bonus based on live channel GMV and sell-through growth
- Direct access to leadership and fast decision-making
- Proven product and existing traction: you're scaling something that already works
- Compensation: $70,000–$90,000 base performance bonus tied to live channel growth
