What are the responsibilities and job description for the Janitor position at Unique Cleaning?
Position Overview:
Unique Cleaning Service, Inc. is in search of an On Call/ Janitor to serve one of our clients in Bryan College, TX. The successful candidate will maintain buildings in clean and orderly condition by performing routine maintenance functions. We are looking to fill this position with candidates that are detail and service oriented.
Duties:
- Clean and service restrooms.
- Clean, sweep, scrub floors
- Dust and empty trash containers.
- Frequently disinfectant high traffic areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
Hours vary based upon needs. May work 2-3 days per week up to 8 hours per shift, split shifts may occur. Typically up to 5 hours per week; may work up to an additional 10-15 hours per week in the absence of current housekeeping staff.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year janitorial experience in a medical facility.
- High School Diploma or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
- Must be a self starter, punctual and reliable person willing to be a team player at all times.
- Nationwide background check and drug testing required.
- Lifting of heavy supplies and materials.
- Experience operating large motorized housekeeping equipment a Plus!
- Stripping and waxing floors experience a Plus!
