What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Housekeeper position at Unique Cleaning?
Position Overview:
Unique Cleaning Service, Inc. is in search of a Housekeeper to serve one of our clients in Appleton, WI. The successful candidate will maintain the facility in a clean and orderly condition by performing routine maintenance functions. We are looking to fill this position with candidates that are detail and service oriented.
Duties:
- Maintains cleanliness of clinical rooms, hallways, bathrooms and sanitation protocols and achieves satisfaction and quality standards for room and common area cleaning.
- Disposes of hazardous and infectious waste in compliance with protocols.
- Performs rounds, inspects room, removes clutter, empties trash, refreshes bathroom. Responds to patient service requests for housekeeping services and hospitality support.
- Cleans common area space and waiting areas in facility.
- Cleans and sanitizes equipment as assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year janitorial experience in a medical facility.
- High School Diploma or possession of an acceptable equivalency diploma.
- Must be a self starter, punctual and reliable person willing to be a team player at all times.
- Nationwide background check and drug testing required.
- Lifting of heavy supplies and materials.
- Experience operating large motorized housekeeping equipment a Plus!
- Stripping and waxing floors experience a Plus!
