Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic options, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
- Take accurate food and drink orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, and relay orders efficiently to kitchen staff
- Provide outstanding customer service by engaging with guests, answering questions about menu items, and offering personalized recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and dining areas in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
- Manage cash handling duties accurately, including processing payments and giving correct change using retail math skills
- Assist with catering, banquet events, or nightclub service as needed to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Demonstrate effective time management during busy hours to serve multiple tables efficiently while maintaining high service standards
Requirements
- Previous restaurant or food service experience, preferably in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order entry and transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures to ensure health standards are met
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously through excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic math proficiency for cash handling, sales transactions, and retail math calculations
- Experience in serving alcohol responsibly and understanding beverage preparation techniques such as brewing or bartending fundamentals
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as required in a lively hospitality environment
