Position: Press Technician/Production Assistant
Location: On-Site
Lancaster, PA 17601
Hours:
Full Time: Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00
Breaks: 15 min in the morning, 30 min lunch, 10 min in the afternoon
Overtime is required when in busy season (some Saturdays)
Pay Rate: $14 – $16 per hour, based on experience
Essential Function: Assist the auto press operator in all aspects of the screen printing process.
General Accountabilities: Pull shirts off the press without stretching the image
- Regulate and control the proper amount of adhesive
- Interrupt press operator regularly to inspect the straightness of the loads/images
- Retrieve screens and inks
- Break down screens, clean ink out of screens
- Clean squeegees and printing tools
- Assist with changing and taping pallets
- Tape screens in accordance with company protocol
- Maintain a clean work area
- Assist warehouse with receiving and deliveries as needed
Required Skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment
Physical Requirements
- While performing the duties of this job, employee is regularly required to lift and move up to 30 lbs
- Employee is expected to stand for extended periods
- Good eye sight, with or without corrective lenses
Experience
- Experience in a screen printing shop a plus
