Store Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Store Manager to oversee daily retail operations, ensure excellent customer service, and lead a team toward achieving sales and operational goals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, along with a comprehensive understanding of retail management, inventory control, and staff development. Duties

• Lead and supervise store staff, including hiring, training, evaluating performance, and developing team members.
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and POS transactions.
• Manage inventory levels through effective purchasing, stock replenishment, merchandising, and inventory control techniques.
• Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while ensuring excellent customer service.
• Conduct employee orientation sessions and ongoing training to promote professional development.
• Coordinate marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing clientele.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and health standards.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints with professionalism using excellent phone etiquette and communication skills.
• Manage shift schedules to optimize staffing levels based on store needs.
• Perform administrative tasks including record keeping, reporting, and maintaining organizational standards.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervising responsibilities.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and foster a positive work environment.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management, bookkeeping, and scheduling.
• Proficiency in POS systems, retail math, pricing strategies, and cash handling procedures.
• Experience in employee orientation, interviewing, recruiting, training & development is preferred.
• Knowledge of merchandising, marketing strategies, stock management, and retail sales techniques.
• Ability to manage budgets and perform retail math accurately.
• Demonstrated ability in shift management, sales management, and customer service excellence. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
