SUMMARY
The Rebate Data Quality Analyst plays a critical role in protecting UniPro’s financial integrity and Member value proposition by ensuring the accurate, timely, and complete collection of supplier rebate revenue. This role exists to proactively identify financial risk, monitor rebate performance against budget, and drive resolution of payment discrepancies that directly impact company revenue and Member trust.
Unlike operational data processing roles, this position owns continuous financial oversight throughout the biweekly close cycle and across the fiscal year, serving as an early-warning mechanism for shortfalls, underpayments, and systemic supplier issues.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The Rebate Data Quality Analyst is accountable for:

Monitoring supplier rebate performance against budget and historical trends.

Identifying, tracking, and escalating, missing or materially underpaid supplier payments.

Initiating collection efforts for delinquent rebates and coordinating follow-up with suppliers.

Reviewing preliminary and final close data to ensure accuracy of purchase dollars, cases, and weights.

Managing control processes such as show holds, late fee tracking, litigation support, and billback reporting.

The role operates with a high degree of independence and requires prioritization across multiple suppliers, conferences, and financial risks simultaneously.

Communicating rebate payment issues to internal stakeholders, senior leadership, and Members.

Assist with special projects as needed.

External: UniPro approved Suppliers
JOB REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience with a minimum of two years’ analytical experience in areas such as rebate analysis, forensic accounting, purchasing, or similar data-driven functions. (Required)

Comfortable working across multiple IT platforms, including proprietary systems (e.g., Speedy Labs) and standard tools such as Microsoft Excel. (Required)

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools. (Required)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. (Required)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment to meet process deadlines required.

Foodservice distribution industry experience preferred.
- Traditional accounting experience is not required; emphasis is placed on analytical thinking and attention to detail

Salary : $72,000 - $82,000
