Summary
As a night shift Plant Maintenance Technician, you will be essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility through effective maintenance and repair of machinery and equipment. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will utilize your core skills in industrial mechanics, electrical experience, and schematics to troubleshoot and resolve issues. Your knowledge of programmable logic controllers and industrial maintenance will enhance our operational efficiency. Additionally, your premium skills in hydraulics and robotics will be valuable in maintaining a safe and productive work environment. Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. without mechanical assistance.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, blue prints, ladder diagrams.
- Industrial Maintenance experience or training.
- Hydraulic and Pneumatic experience or training.
- PLC training or experience.
Job Description:
- Responsible for maintaining and installing machinery, building facilities, electrical equipment and components etc.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, debug and repair manufacturing assembly tools and equipment, as quickly and accurately as possible.
- Perform installation and repair of electrical power services, lighting, controls, instrumentation, motors, protective devices, programmable controllers, robots and assembly machines.
- Complete periodic preventive maintenance on all plant equipment, including power distribution systems, HVAC systems, air compressors, chillers, air dryers, robots and welding equipment.
- Maintain accurate and complete records and logs of work performed, in accordance to required formats, timeframes and deadlines.
- Perform other general maintenance duties such as arc welding, mig welding, plumbing and other associated tasks
- Ability to work overtime as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $28.39 - $39.70 per hour
