Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Field Service Technician based in Allentown, PA. The Field Service Technician will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and testing uninterruptible power systems (UPS), batteries, and related equipment at customer sites located across the continental United States. Daily tasks may include troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance services, conducting diagnostic tests, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The candidate will also liaise with clients to provide technical support and recommendations for optimizing their power systems, ensuring business operations run smoothly.

Qualifications
- Proficiency in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of power systems, including UPS, static switches, power distribution units, and batteries.
- Strong technical knowledge of power testing equipment and procedures, including skills in conducting diagnostic tests and interpreting results.
- Familiarity with professional standards such as IEEE, NFPA70, OSHA 1910, and NEC.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client interaction and reporting.
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and adapt to a hybrid work arrangement.
- Relevant technical certifications or a background in electrical and/or electronic systems is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with infrared thermal imaging and battery testing services is a plus.
- Willingness to travel to client sites across the United States but primarily within the eastern Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York City areas.
