Job Duties (Customs Entry Writer):
- Clear goods through customs and facilitate delivery to their destinations for clients.
- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, CFS warehouse, truckers, customers, and interoffice departments to ensure timely delivery of freight.
- Track, trace and update customers regarding arrival, delivery, and shipment status.
- Check customs clearance and freight release for shipment availability.
- Classify goods according to tariff coding system and calculate duty and tariff payments.
- Prepare and process import and export documentation according to customs regulations, laws, or procedures.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, CFS, truckers, and customers to provide the best service possible for our customers.
Required Experience (Customs Entry Writer):
Experience in freight forwarding and customs clearance preferred. However, candidates with experience or coursework related to International Business, Supply Chain Management, Transportation and Logistics are encouraged to apply.
Required Language (Customs Entry Writer):
Read, write, and speak English fluently. Bi-lingual in Mandarin, Vietnamese, Korean, or Japanese is a plus.

Pay: $19.00 - $28.00 per hour
