Indoor Percussion Assistant Director: Front Ensemble (1/2 position)
Unionville High School
Salary $2,316.00
Position Summary: The Indoor Percussion Front Ensemble Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and directing the musical and visual training of all sections of the Front Ensemble.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Be completely knowledgeable of front ensemble percussion playing techniques and electronics (including but not limited to Mainstage, soundboard, midi devices, microphones).
- Develop/maintain and distribute a technique training program for students.
- Maintain sound equipment and electronics.
- Select ensemble members and instrument placement in conjunction with the Director.
- Develop and execute rehearsal plans for full front ensemble and sub-sectionals in conjunction with the Director.
- Manage volunteer front ensemble percussion staff in conjunction with the Director.
- Effectively communicate expectations and goals with students.
- Attend events and competitions.
- Advise director of ensemble equipment and ordering needs.
- Account for school property.
- Run full ensemble rehearsals in conjunction with Battery Coordinator and the Director.
- Prepare an end-of-season summary with recommendations for program maintenance or improvement. Submit report to director.

Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151)
Pennsylvania State Criminal Record Check (Act 34)
Federal Criminal History Record Check (Act 114)
