We produce one-of-a-kind catered events and unparalleled dining experiences in a variety of cultural, corporate, entertainment, and private venues throughout New York City and beyond.  Job SummaryThe Pastry Sous Chef works alongside the management team to lead and oversee our hourly pastry team through the daily high-volume production in the kitchen. This role requires a hands-on approach, where the Pastry Sous Chef will actively participate in production while also upkeeping administrative responsibilities and people management skills.Working as the Sous Chef, you will be responsible for the successful operation of the Culinary Department for a facility. You will assist in the supervision, preparation, and cooking of various food items, developing daily menu items and their preparation and garnishment. You may supervise hourly associates and you work with Executive Chef/Chef to develop new menus and assist with ordering.
