Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our team at Union Special. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC Turning Centers, maintaining accurate dimensional tolerances, and performing physical labor as required.
About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have experience working with CNC Turning Centers, various types of gauging, and complex projects. They must also be able to lift up to 50lbs and possess good attention to detail, ability to follow written and verbal instructions, and understand safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC Turning Centers according to specifications and design criteria
- Maintain accurate dimensional tolerances using precision measuring instruments
- Monitor machine operations and rework/calibrate production parts or assemblies as required
- Check each component for accuracy and perform physical labor as needed
Requirements:
- Experience with CNC Turning Centers
- Able to lift up to 50lbs
- Experience with various types of gauging
- Ability to work on complex projects with general direction and minimal guidance
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
- Understanding of safety requirements
Compensation:
$16.62 - $20.62 per hour
