Director of Building & Grounds
HOURLY RATE & BENEFITS:
$20-25 per hour

GENERAL FUNCTION:
To help maintain the physical school plant in a condition of operating excellence so that full educational use of it may be made at all times.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- General knowledge of all phases of building maintenance
- Experience in H.V.A.C. either in private fields or as a maintenance worker in a school district.
- Must have a valid driver’s license as required by law.
- Must have or be in the process of obtaining a Type II refrigeration license or Universal license.
- Must have knowledge of working with computers.
- Must have knowledge of working with Building Automated Systems (BAS).
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Ability to speak in a clear and understandable manner and write legibly.
- Ability to lift in excess of 100 pounds.
- Ability to work at various heights.
- Ability to work in confined areas.
- Ability to supervise individuals.
- Ability to be available for emergency situations.
- Ability to be aware of the security of the students, staff, and school property.
- Ability to meet daily attendance requirements.
- Ability to be available for overtime assignments.
