What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Dietitian position at Union Plaza Rehab?
CLINICAL REGISTERED DIETITIAN (Per Diem)
We are looking for a Registered Dietitian who is able to work including at least one weekend (Saturday or/and Sunday) and desires to work with geriatric patients in a multicultural setting.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Completes and documents comprehensive nutrition assessments with a comprehensive care plan along with MDS 3.0: initial admission, readmission, annual, quarterly and significant changes.
- Conducts daily meal rounds to observe patients’ intake and food preferences.
- Monitor weight records on designated units.
- Conducts all necessary interventions in case of notable/significant change
- Makes and adjusts tube feeding recommendations to the attending physician.
- Works closely with interdisciplinary teams.
- Provide nutrition education to family and residents
JOB QUALIFICATION
- Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s Degree, or equivalent combination of education in the field of nutrition.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RD/RDN) Certification required.
- Bilingual - English and Korean or Chinese speaking are preferred.
- Strong communication and computer skills, such as Microsoft and SigmaCare (EMR/EHR).
Pay: $38.00 - $41.00 per hour
