About the Role
This role focuses on market intelligence, opportunity sourcing, and building the relationships that lead to new project business. You’ll identify emerging opportunities early, map key players in the market, and grow Union Office Interiors’ network across multiple influencer communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence: Track Boston-area CRE activity, workplace trends, tenant moves, and industry developments to identify early-stage opportunities.
- Opportunity Generation: Increase qualified opportunities by monitoring project pipelines, broker activity, A&D pursuits, and manufacturer leads.
- Market Expansion: Develop outreach strategies to grow Union Office Interiors’ visibility in new sectors and client segments.
- CRM & Reporting: Maintain accurate lead and pipeline data, helping improve forecasting and strategic decision-making.
- Brand Presence: Represent Union Office Interiors at industry events, roundtables, and networking programs to enhance market exposure.
What You Bring
- Strong knowledge of the Boston commercial real estate / A&D ecosystem.
- Experience in business development within office furniture, interiors, CRE, or related industries (preferred).

Requirements and Skills:
- BS or BA from an accredited institution
- 5 yrs of experience in the commercial interiors space
- Collaborative mindset, working seamlessly with sales, project management and customer service
- Maintain excellent work ethic and team player mentality
- Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage time efficiently
- Creative problem solver with attention to detail
- Valid drivers license
