RT/PFT Tech
Essential Job Duties:
- Collaborates with physicians and nursing staff for comprehensive patient care.
- Prepares and calibrates equipment for pulmonary function testing.
- Demonstrates expertise in maintenance, quality control, and knowledge of gases and lung compliance.
- Exhibits proficiency in Body Plethsonography procedures and equipment, adhering to accepted standards and procedures for patient care.
Qualifications:
- Would consider Respiratory Care Practitioner or Technologist, willing to learn pulmonary function testing.
- Prefer one year of clinical experience as pulmonary function technologist and/or respiratory care with completion of National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
- Ability to perform external cardiac massage.
License/Certification:
- BLS certification
- Must be a Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) and/or actively pursuing certification through the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).
