Minimum Qualifications
- Must hold a valid Washington State teaching certificate
- Successful substitute teaching experience preferred but not required
- Follow all lesson plans and other instructions provided by the regular teacher and/or school
- Assume responsibility for duties assigned to the regular teacher
- Provide instruction and modify instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students
- Demonstrate effective classroom management
- Create a safe and positive classroom environment conducive to learning
- Foster a positive attitude with students, parents and staff
- Utilize effective human relations and/or communication skills
- Complete necessary paperwork in a timely manner
- Other duties as assigned
