- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs
- Manage patient records using Electronic Health Records (EHR) and Patient Management Software, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
- Communicate effectively with patients via phone and client communication channels to explain treatment options and follow-up procedures
- Coordinate appointments, follow-ups, and necessary documentation to ensure timely delivery of care
- Maintain knowledge of health regulation policies and insurance requirements to facilitate smooth approval processes
- Support medical administrative functions such as scheduling, data entry, and maintaining medical terminology accuracy
- Ensure compliance with all confidentiality standards and health regulations during patient information handling
Skills
- Proven experience in a medical office setting or dental office environment with strong understanding of healthcare workflows
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) for documentation and communication purposes
- Familiarity with Medical Administrative Support tasks including appointment scheduling and patient record management
- Experience with EMR/EHR systems and Patient Management Software for electronic health records management
- Knowledge of health insurance policies, billing procedures, and maintaining patient confidentiality standards
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly via phone and in person
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to treatment planning and documentation
- Ability to type quickly and accurately while managing multiple tasks efficiently
