Answers multi-lined phones and forwards calls as necessary.
Stocks shelves and drink machines.
Completes assigned cleanups to keep area of responsibility clean and presenting a good appearance.
Assists in making copies, faxing articles, etc. as deemed necessary.
Assists in operating the Day Use Area Gate House as needed.
Knowledge of all park and campground rules (after training).
Operates and balance a cash register is required (staff will train.)
Follows instructions, both oral and written.
Performs manual labor to include lifting up to 25 lbs.
Speaks to people with poise, voice control and confidence.
Records and delivers information, to explain procedures, to follow oral and written instructions.

This position may be subject to a fingerprint background check. Per NC General Statute 153A-94.2(b), applicants for a position of employment required to work with children in any capacity will be required to electronically submit fingerprints to the NC State Bureau of Investigation for a state and national criminal history record.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment and machinery including computers, phones, office equipment, etc. Must be able to exert a moderate amount of force constantly, and up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, to move objects. Moderate work usually requires walking or standing to a significant degree. However, if the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for Sedentary Work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for Moderate Work.
