JOB SUMMARY: Under general supervision, an Public Safety teacher will plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program with regards to content specific elements of the field including, but not limited to corrections, emergency and fire management, security and protection, law enforcement, and legal services in a secondary learning environment that guides, and encourages students to develop and fulfill their academic goals by creating a classroom environment that is conducive to learning, and appropriate to the maturity and interest of students.
