Union County High School is seeking a dedicated and motivated JROTC Instructor to join its 4th Brigade JROTC program. The ideal candidate will bring leadership, mentorship, and a passion for developing young cadets in a structured, positive learning environment. This is a cost-shared JROTC instructor position requiring eligible retired military personnel at the NCO or Warrant Officer level.
Responsibilities

Instruct and mentor cadets in accordance with JROTC curriculum and standards

Support leadership development, citizenship, and academic excellence

Coordinate and participate in JROTC events, drills, competitions, and community service

Maintain accountability and administration of program activities and equipment

Work collaboratively with school administration and brigade leadership
Qualifications

Must meet U.S. Army Cadet Command requirements for JROTC NCO/WO instructors

Retired (or eligible to retire) NCO or Warrant Officer
