What are the responsibilities and job description for the GUIDANCE COUNSELOR - UNION COUNTY HIGH SCHOOL position at Union County High School?
Union County High School has a vacancy for the position of School Guidance Counselor for the 2026-27 school year and is accepting applicants to ensure a smooth transition into the next school year. The highly-effective and motivated candidate must have an active Kentucky School Guidance Counselor Certification or Statement of Eligibility (SOE) issued by the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board. The potential candidate will also have the requisite content knowledge, leadership experiences, and a true desire to inspire the champions within each of the students at Union County High School. This is a full-time, 210 day position.
Applicants must provide qualifying credentials:
• Official Transcripts and the applicable EPSB certification:
• Teaching Certificate, or
• Statement of Eligibility,
• Other Qualifying Certification Credentials
•Complete Required Background Check Requirements
All applicants must present a letter from the Kentucky Cabinet for Health and Family Services (CHFS) stating that the applicant has no findings of substantiated child abuse or neglect.
