Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Occupational Therapist based in Westfield, NJ. The Occupational Therapist will assess and evaluate student needs, develop and implement individualized therapy plans, and deliver targeted interventions to support student development. Additional responsibilities include collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure that therapeutic goals align with students’ educational plans. The role also involves maintaining detailed records, attending team meetings, and providing recommendations to enhance students’ academic and functional skills.
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Commitment to supporting the academic, social, and physical development of children
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the state of New Jersey
- Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy or a related field
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings is preferred
