Qualifications:JOB SUMMARY
Delivers medications to patient homes and facilities within Union Community Care service area in a safe, organized, polite, and accurate manner.
SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
- Scans prescriptions and orders to be delivered to create a deliver log and loads them into the vehicle, keeping in mind any special storage requirements, such as refrigeration, and delivers them to residences or care facilities using a company vehicle
- Ensures efficient route selection and follows all safety and company rules
- Obtains appropriate signatures and ensures accuracy, privacy, and reliability of each delivery
- Maintains safe operation and clean appearance by complying with organization operational policies, procedures, and standards, as well as state and local driving rules and regulations
- Answers customers questions in a courteous and friendly manner
- Performs other work-related duties as assigned
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Current Driver’s License
- High School Diploma or G.E.D
- Ability to travel between sites
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Exhibits excellent communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Good basic computer skills
- Strong team player
- Compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Knowledge of medical terminology a plus
- English proficiency required

ORGANIZATIONAL INVOLVEMENT
This position is required to participate in mandatory all staff meetings, team meetings and trainings.
