Position Overview
We are seeking an Elementary Teacher who is devoted to Christ, demonstrates strong Christian character, and has a genuine passion for loving, serving, and teaching children. The ideal candidate views teaching as a calling from God and desires to integrate biblical truth into daily instruction and interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality instruction in accordance with the school’s curriculum and Christian philosophy.
- Model Christ-like character, humility, and love in all classroom and school activities.
- Create a nurturing, engaging, and safe learning environment where every child feels valued and encouraged.
- Integrate faith and biblical principles into lessons, conversations, and classroom culture.
- Partner with parents as co-laborers in the spiritual and academic development of their children.
- Maintain clear communication with families, colleagues, and administrators.
- Participate in prayer, chapel services, and other school-wide faith-building activities.
Qualifications
- A personal, growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to living out biblical principles.
- A heart for ministry and a passion for loving and investing in children.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
- Experience working with elementary-age children in a Christian educational setting is a plus.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- A servant’s heart and a willingness to collaborate with a unified team.
