Position Summary: The Student Development Internship program is a summer opportunity that will help prepare incoming high school seniors for professional work after graduation. During this time, interns will build relationships with mentors, gain confidence navigating a corporate setting, practice work prioritization and time management skills, as well as assist operations with real-world work initiatives.

Sedentary work – occasionally lifting and/or carrying up to 25 lbs.
Indoor work – not exposed to outdoor elements or hazards.

Essential Functions
- Work collaboratively with project teams and project leadership to maximize productivity.
- Organize and monitor schedules to see that deadlines are met.
- Help discern requirements and assign tasks to team members.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as scheduling, research, and emails.
- Prepare training power points, job aids, assist management with documentation of new or existing processes, and draft and/or reviews procedures for usability.
- Assist with marketing or promotional activities/events.
- Learn about Gallup strengths and participate in team Gallup initiatives.
- Review loan documentation, index, file, image, and update reporting standards and systems of record as directed for a variety of loan types.
- Review county tax records, receipts, and servicing check data for mortgages.
- Perform analysis on fee groups and data sets utilizing excel to achieve a business initiative or inform decision making.
- Understand and adhere to all applicable bank policies, laws, and regulations applicable to the role. Complete required compliance training. Follow internal processes and controls as required.
- Report all compliance issues, violations of law or regulations in accordance with the steps defined in Bank policies.
- Perform or assist with other job related duties or special projects as assigned.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this position.
- Successful completion of Junior year at Lincoln High School, LPS “Take Charge” course.
- Technology proficient with an aptitude for understanding and learning technology.
- Valid Nebraska Driver’s License.
