Under the direction of the Wealth Advisor, the UBC Wealth Management Assistant performs a variety of support tasks in an office setting.
Administrative Responsibilities:
- Performs tasks for supervisor and others assigned.
- Assists in organizing workflow and establishing project schedules.
- Answers telephones, manages files and documentation, and performs special projects as needed.
- Greets visitors, distributes mail, schedules appointments for staff, and answers correspondence.
- Orders and maintains all departmental supplies.
- Participates in sales goals established by management for such items cross-sales and referrals.
- Data Entry of client information to forms.
- Contact Mutual Fund and Annuity companies to gather and update information.
Operations Responsibilities:
- Keep abreast of changes in products, policies and procedures, and attend training as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Customer Service:
- Assists customers with resolution of account problems and issues.
- Is responsible for comprehensive, prompt and efficient customer service.
- Outbound calls to clients and prospects to set appointments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma
- 1 year experience in related position preferred
- Must have the capacity to work under stress and handle difficult situations.
