We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed.
Duties
- Safely operate delivery vehicles, including those with manual transmission, to transport goods to designated locations.
- Load and unload products using equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts when necessary.
- Follow designated routes while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation as required.
- Assist in warehouse operations, including inventory management and organization of goods.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
- Experience with route driving and familiarity with local roads is advantageous.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
- Previous experience operating warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts is a plus.
- A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
