Job Title: Production Associate
Department: Processing/Manufacturing
Shift: Day Shift
Report To: Shift Supervisor
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Safety: Perform the duties of General Laborer in a safe manner
- Operations: Perform duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Senior Supervisor or Plant Manager
- Housekeeping: General cleanliness and tidiness of the work area(s)
- Clean-Up: Participate in the plant clean-up at shifts' end
- Operate equipment and ensure all duties are performed in a safe manner
- Involved in multiple quality control tasks
- Other Duties: All other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor, Senior Supervisor or Plant Manager
Skills and Knowledge Requirements:
- Requires standing, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Requires the ability to perform work with hands and/or arms in the same repetitive motion above and below shoulder level
- Knowledge of all plant and safety policies and procedures
- Knowledge of proper clean-up procedures for the end of the shift/day
- Knowledge of the proper use and care of all pertinent tools
