What you’ll do:
Learn all aspects of the manufacturing process!
- Perform troubleshooting, breakdown repairs, preventative and predictive maintenance, including work orders, accurate time tracking and parts consumption
- Inspect production equipment and plant facilities to ensure a safe working environment
- Work both independently and with teams demonstrating safe work practices
- Accurate reporting of maintenance work performed and material and parts used on a daily basis and any associated JSA and/or SOP
- Participate in all housekeeping activities
- Perform other duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements
- Working knowledge of machine operations in a manufacturing environment
- Fundamental understanding of Preventative Maintenance Programs [CMMS]
- Basic knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot the following:
- 24 VDC, 110 and 480 3 Phase VAC electrical systems
- Hydraulic Systems
- Pneumatic Systems
- Ability to fabricate steel using a torch, welder and associated tooling
- Basic ability to read prints/schematics of the following types
- Electrical
- Hydraulic
- Pneumatic
- Structural
- Ability to safely operate power tools
- Possess own set of hand tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Qualifications
Experience
- 3 years:Industrial maintenance in a manufacturing environment - Preferred
Education
- High School Equivalent or higher - Required
- Technical/other training or higher – Required
