Duties
- Assist in overseeing the security team to ensure effective coverage across all premises
- Support the implementation of surveillance systems such as CCTV to monitor activity and prevent loss or theft
- Conduct regular patrols and visual inspections to identify potential security risks or breaches
- Respond promptly to incidents, conflicts, or emergencies, applying conflict management skills to de-escalate situations
- Support loss prevention initiatives by monitoring suspicious activity and ensuring adherence to safety policies
- Assist in training security personnel on emergency procedures including CPR and First Aid protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents as needed
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and surveillance records for accountability and review
Requirements
- Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service or related fields with a focus on safety management
- Knowledge of CCTV surveillance systems and loss prevention techniques
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to handle tense situations calmly and effectively
- Familiarity with security protocols, including access control procedures and emergency response plans
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, or holidays as required
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and external agencies
