What are the responsibilities and job description for the HR COORDINATOR position at UniGroup, C.A.?
Under general direction, the HR Coordinator provides support to the Human Resources department, working across the HR team, company leaders and employees, other company functions such as finance or IT, and with external vendors. The HR Coordinator will manage end-to-end business processes and programs within Human Resources, special projects and ad hoc initiatives. The role will have exposure to a variety of HR and payroll functions and will be an integral member of the HR team. This role is located in St. Louis, Missouri and will allow for a flexible schedule that is hybrid (working remotely as well as in office work at our headquarters in Fenton, Missouri). Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage all administration of changes into HRIS (Dayforce) for existing employees and new hires; prepare standard and ad-hoc reporting to support HR and Payroll team members
Lead Affirmative Action Plan (AAP) process, partnering with external vendor and across HR team
Manage the pre-boarding process for new hires from offer to orientation, including I-9 administration, drug and background check administration, notifications of new hires to internal stakeholders, coordination of first day orientation, etc.
Manage the offboarding process for exiting employees including handling employee and leader questions, management of exit checklist, and exit interview process
Own employee recognition items including, but not limited to, service anniversary programs, birthday/anniversary reporting for all employee meetings and department-specific requests, values gift card management, etc.
Support employee surveys, code of conduct, and other HR training communication and follow up
Track, manage and support HR vendor invoice processing
Lead and organize management of electronic and paper HR files, HR content on The U (company intranet) including people leader only page, Future of Work/Ways of Working content on The U, and HR Share
Serve as first point for inquiries and owner of HR e-mail box
Participate as leader or participant in special projects and events
Support meetings for HR team, leadership, focus groups, open enrollment and other employee meetings and events
Document HR business processes and work to simplify and standardize while creating positive employee experience
Oversee ad hoc requests, assignments and other duties as assigned
Education, License or Certification:
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration or related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant business experience
0-3 years of relevant experience and pursuing a career in the HR field
