What are the responsibilities and job description for the Air Import/Export Operations Agent position at Uniglobe, Inc?
Uniglobe, Inc. is an established freight forwarding company that provides logistics solutions to an international clientele. We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable professional to join our team. We strongly prefer applicants with experience in freight forwarding and air import/export logistics, as well as applicants who can communicate in Mandarin Chinese as we work with many overseas clients.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and respond to emails in a timely manner
- Accurately execute and oversee the freight logistics process, including booking, arranging, and tracking shipments
- Provide customer support to direct clients and agents
- Issue invoices and prepare the necessary documentation for ocean operations
Experience
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience with freight forwarding operations is preferred
Qualifications & Skills:
- Solid organizational and analytical skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal communication skills
- Drive to learn new skills and develop professionally
- Ability to multitask successfully and adapt to changes quickly
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Language competency in Mandarin Chinese is a strong plus
