Reports to Production Supervisor and is located at Unigen HQ at Newark, CA.Primary Job Responsibilities:1. Perform inspections, and check sampling procedures: Perform a cosmetic and full inspection, as well as a functional test for all product lines including PCBA and box buildsEnsure finished product compliance with ISO 900X, ISO 13485, ISO 14001 standards and ESD practices, proper material handling, and NCR practices/systemsInspects nonconforming solder join defects on PTH and SMT componentPerform online Go-Not-Go inspection to ensure parts and assemblies meet IPC-610A specification and standards.2. Monitor and operate critical equipment and instrumentation: Read and interpret assembly drawings, bills of material (BOMs), MPI, ECN, Deviation, and other manufacturing documentation related to inspection in approving or rejecting final assemblies record daily test resultsPerform data entry and scanning to support daily production schedules and transactions3. Provide team support: Demonstrate work methods to new hiresEscalates process problems with Peer, Leads, Supervisor and Engineers.Share best practices, assist in minor troubleshootingActively participate in cross-trainingOther duties and responsibilities related to Quality Assurance as assignedRequired Education and Experience:Minimum High School Diploma. IPC-610A certification required.Minimum 5 years of working experience in First Article, In-Process, FQA, or Receiving Inspection in Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment.
