Responsibilities:
Faculty are responsible for teaching nursing courses in multiple modalities while supporting the mission and vision of the institution. Full-time instructors typically teach 4.5–5.5 work units per quarter.
Key responsibilities include:
• Utilizing effective teaching strategies and fostering an engaging, student-centered learning environment
• Supporting synchronous and asynchronous learning through live classroom tools and outreach
• Connecting course objectives to performance outcomes with organized and effective instruction
• Assisting in curriculum development, assessment, and program improvement initiatives
• Maintaining an active classroom presence and collaborating with academic leadership
• Participating in faculty meetings, events, and committee work as assigned
Qualifications:
• Master’s Degree in Nursing required (Doctorate preferred)
• Active, unencumbered RN license
• Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Minimum 1 year RN clinical experience required; 2 years preferred
• Previous teaching or training experience preferred
Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
