Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network issues across multiple client locations
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer hardware and peripherals including desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices
- Manage computer systems using operating systems such as Windows and macOS, ensuring optimal performance
- Support computer networking setups including LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network), firewalls, and switches to maintain secure connectivity
- Resolve software issues related to operating systems, Microsoft Office suite, and specialized applications like BMC Remedy, ServiceNow, Jira
- Conduct routine maintenance and updates on IT infrastructure components to prevent system failures
- Document all service activities accurately using help desk tools such as ServiceNow or Jira and communicate effectively with clients to ensure satisfaction
Qualifications
- Proven experience in technical support or desktop support roles with a strong understanding of computer hardware and software troubleshooting
- Familiarity with operating systems including Windows, macOS, and Linux environments
- Knowledge of computer networking concepts such as LAN setup, VPN configuration, firewalls, and network security protocols
- Proficiency in managing Microsoft Office applications and common IT management tools like BMC Remedy or ServiceNow
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-focused approach to problem resolution
- Ability to work independently in the field while maintaining high standards of professionalism and safety
- Certifications such as CompTIA A , Network , or Microsoft Certified Professional are a plus but not mandatory
