Unified Talent Group is supporting the search for a Senior Finance Manager to lead financial planning, reporting, and accounting operations within a growing manufacturing organization. This role is responsible for overseeing financial processes, supporting strategic planning, and partnering with senior leadership to drive business performance and decision-making.
In this role, you will collaborate with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting, maintain strong internal controls, and support both short- and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee financial and accounting functions including reporting systems, controls, and data management
- Develop, implement, and refine financial processes, procedures, and internal controls
- Prepare and review financial reports, statements, and performance metrics for senior leadership
- Partner with executive leadership to provide insights and recommendations on financial strategy and business planning
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning initiatives
- Analyze financial trends, variances, and performance indicators to guide decision-making
- Assist in the development of capital and operating budgets
- Support strategic initiatives including financial modeling, forecasting, and investment planning
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly financial statements
- Lead and mentor finance team members, supporting development and performance management
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, analysis, and accounting principles
- Experience with financial reporting systems, budgeting, and forecasting tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
- Experience working within ERP or financial systems in a manufacturing environment
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8–10 years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or financial planning & analysis
- 2–4 years of leadership or management experience within a finance function
- Experience supporting operations within a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
