Job Description: This position involves approximately 2 hours of work daily, Monday through Sunday, with a start time of 7:00 AM. The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness across the facility, ensuring all areas meet our high standards.
Job Responsibilities:
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas of the facility to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, ensuring supplies such as toilet paper and soap are adequately stocked.
• Dispose of trash and recycling materials promptly and responsibly.
• Restock restroom supplies and maintain inventory levels.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks and report any necessary repairs to the maintenance supervisor.
• Follow health and safety guidelines, ensuring a safe work environment for all staff and visitors.
• Assist in minor cleaning tasks in break rooms and common areas.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and report any malfunctions.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in janitorial or custodial services preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
