Our team is growing, and we are seeking a Measure Technician to ensure our projects are measured, ordered, and installed with precision and care.
Position Overview:
As a Measure Technician, you will be responsible for visiting customer homes to take final measurements for window and door projects, reviewing the signed agreement with the customer, and ensuring all project details are accurate before ordering. You will collaborate closely with our project managers, sales representatives, and manufacturers to guarantee projects are ordered correctly and installed seamlessly. You will also identify and communicate any necessary changes or additional charges if details were missed during the sales process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Visit customer homes to take precise final measurements for windows and doors.
• Take detailed photos of existing windows and doors for project manager review.
• Review and confirm agreements with customers, ensuring full understanding of the project scope.
• Work with sales reps, project managers, and manufacturers to ensure accurate ordering and timely delivery.
• Adjust project orders as needed and apply appropriate up-charges for missed items or scope changes.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, explaining next steps, and ensuring customers feel confident in the process.
• Maintain accurate records of all measurements, photos, adjustments, and order details.
Qualifications:
• Previous experience in home remodeling, construction, or measuring windows and doors preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.
• Ability to read and interpret contracts, blueprints, or product specifications.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Organized, reliable, and self-motivated with the ability to manage time effectively.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
