Security Charter Screener Agent (Part-Time) - LAX

Work Schedule: 

• (Various Flexible PT Shifts) Monday – Sunday

Job Summary:

Responsible for ensuring safe and secure access to aircraft for Unifi clients. This role manages access control, conducts passenger and vendor screening, and enforces security protocols to verify proper authorization prior to boarding.

Job Duties:  

·   Screen passengers, vendors, and employees prior to aircraft boarding, including random body scans, bag checks, and Explosive Trace Detection (ETD) tests.

·   Verify guest and employee credentials to maintain consistent access control.

·   Document security activities by writing clear and concise reports.

·   Monitor and report security incidents or emergencies to management for resolution.

·   Maintain accountability of security equipment, including keys, radios, and related items.

·   Complete work in a safe and secure manner, following company safety and operational standards

·   Immediately report safety and security incidents as well as potential hazards in line with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.

·   Perform other related duties as assigned within the appropriate skill, experience and, capabilities expected for this position. 

Qualifications:  

·   High School diploma or GED.

·   Must be at least 18 years of age.

·   Must be able to obtain credentials required as per airport or state or customs requirements.

Security License:  

·   Must have valid CA Security Guard Card.

Physical requirements:  

·   Must be able to constantly lift, move up, push, pull up to 70 lbs; and constantly walk, stand, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, & bend.

Working conditions:

·   Must be able to work in rotating shifts and hours, nights, weekends and holidays, overtime.

·   Must be able and open to work in outside weather conditions which may include severe seasonal elements.
